Hi TFM’s ....my Brain hurts.
My iPad updated to ISO14 a couple of days ago, and now I have message saying ‘weak security’ under my network name on the screen that shows all the different networks, advising to change to WPA2/WPA3 because WPA2 (TIPK) is not considered secure. I’m not at all tech minded so ...
I have not got a clue how to change to WPA3!
I checked my smart phone which says its on WPA2/3 so I’m confused.com as both devices are using the same WiFi network. Has anyone had this issue after updating and
Can anybody give me any advice please... Thank You
Hi Thanks for answering SpanishFly.
1. Where do I find out if my router supports WPA3?
2. Huawei Echo life hg8245q2
On the front of router where the green light flash ..it flashes on WLAN but it does have WPS next to it. If that helps.
Alice who is your internet provider. You may need a new router, that may sort the problem. Contact your internet provider and tell them the message you are getting and ask them if a new router would solve this. I’m no expert but that’s what I’d do. Ive just upgraded my internet speed and it didn’t work, I had to contact them and tell them I think maybe I need a new router to support the new high speed. They came out and fitted me a new one and voila. All sorted. Mazza
Thanks, I'll do that tomorrow. Hopefully that will solve the problem. I'll let you know how I get on. Do you mind telling me who your provider is, we only have a few months left with ours and are considering changing.
Thanks again, hope you are feeling good at the moment.
We’re with Telfy. Very good company in my opinion. Not sure if they cover your area however. Mazza
You’re more than welcome. Glad it’s sorted. Mazza
