Re: Sabadell phoning for a P60 ? I believe it's an eu law rather than Spanish. The banks have this in place to try and stop money laundering but usually it's sent via email rather than phoning. If you don't they may freeze the account . If you have online banking see if you have had a message from them in there . The app if you ha...
Sabadell phoning for a P60 ?Just had Sabadell on the telephone asking for them to see my P60? They said it's because of the law in Spain! Seems a really weird request. Have any other members had a similar request from Sabadell, or any other Spanish bank?

Re: Rate the last film you sawSaw 2 films over the Easter weekend.
1st was La La Land - it was okay, good acting, but too much singing and dancing for me, 6/10. 2nd was 99 Homes, you do need to see this - great film, with phenomenal acting. It's on Netflix. 8.5/10.
Re: Public holidays on the Costa BlancaThese Torrevieja forums are always great, friendly and helpful. Much better than some places where arguments are started at the drop of a hat!
Re: Public holidays on the Costa Blanca There is a column to the left of this page - if you click on red days and look at 2024 that should tell you what you need to know. Off the top of my head though May 1st is always a holiday I believe throughout Spain Thanks RD, sorry, I didn't notice the red days page here before. :thumbs...
Public holidays on the Costa BlancaI'm coming back to the Costa Blanca (my favourite place in the world), for a short break from the 27 Apr to 10 May this year, but I have some bits to do on the place, so need all shops to be open while I'm there. Anyone know if there's any public holidays in that time?

Re: La Caixa bank No power of attorney so my lawyer wont speak to them and certainly not paying for a power of attorney just for the bank. Thanks NH, I'll have a look at that.
Re: Rate the last film you sawRight, anyone got any recommendations a for a great film tonight? Must be a film and not a series, and would prefer thriller / mystery / twist in the tale type of films. Can be 18+ film.
Re: Rate the last film you saw
Thank you for the recommendation I watched A Man Called Otto last night, based on your words. Tom Hanks was brilliant in it. Great film. 8.5/10.
Covid - Boris JohnsonAnyone else feel it's decidedly suspicious when 5,000 messages disappear from Boris Johnsons mobile phone shortly before the covid enquiry!!!???!!!
The Traitors - what a twist!!Okay, hands up, who's watching it?
