Where to buy a tree t pee?Does anyone know where I can get something similar to a tree t pee? It’s a plastic collar that goes around the base of a tree and enhances its ability to cope with drought conditions.
Gracias!
Re: Sabadell - evidence of incomeYes thanks - that’s a good starting point. I move money using wise so I do have an iban!
Much appreciated!
Re: Sabadell - evidence of incomeIt wants my user/account number, and the number I'm putting in won't be recognised. Even though it's my account number!
Sabadell - evidence of incomeI can see on my app that Sabadell want evidence of income. But I have to log into the website to upload it. Alas, I only use the app. I don't even know my log in number to attempt logging into the website. Any advice on how I can send them a scan of my payslip?
Re: Cafe at Habaneras CarrefourMany thanks for the tip!
Re: Cafe at Habaneras CarrefourThat is what the sign outside said when I visited yesterday. Booo. Thanks for the tip on Matt's Burger. I will check that out. Any other recommendations where I can get inexpensive brandy and beer and fresh cooked food all at Spanish prices?
Re: Cafe at Habaneras CarrefourThanks I will have a look. It is less the burger and more the authentic ambiance of the place. We go to the cafe next to the Montepiedra tennis centre and it’s is super authentic. But they don’t have a hot plate. Thanks for the tips!
Re: Cafe at Habaneras CarrefourThank you very much. Is there anywhere else we could use in the interim you’d recommend? My wife is American and loves the diner style to it where the burger is cooked fresh on a hot plate and chips straight from the fryer. She likes her cafes old school and Spanish rather than national chains.
Re: Cafe at Habaneras CarrefourStill? They hadn’t done anything last time I looked. Does anyone know if they are actually going to reopen it?
Cafe at Habaneras CarrefourMy wife and I have for many years enjoyed a nice hotplate burger and drinks at the café at the Carrefour in Habaneras. However, for the last two visits it has been closed for refurbishment. Does anyone know if it has reopened now?
Re: High cholesterolAnything over 3 and I’d agree, statins are the route. You can reduce cholesterol by reducing the intake of saturated fats and burning them off with more exercise, but statins are a game changer.
Re: Change name on water billSo funny. Must be a whole bunch of folks with wrong names on bills, but somehow can pay bill ok!
Re: Change name on water billBeen nagging the solicitor for years. Never get a reply. Drives me mad. They don’t want the job either!
Re: Change name on water billThat’s the thing to crack. The number. It must be like the numbers that only want so many digits. Fill in the form, try random numbers of different amounts to find out how many numbers and then put in the last numbers of your account number that match that length of numbers.
Re: Change name on water billPermission from town hall!
Re: Change name on water billI will report back. First, I must find the bill in Edith's name..
Re: Change name on water billHidraqua. Many thanks! It’s made worse by the fact that the payment details are correct. We are paying the bill, just not in our name. I will have a go!
Change name on water billWhen we bought our place the solicitor did everything except change the name on the bill for the water. Now we have the name of some old lady on the bill and it’s time to remove it. How do we go about changing the name on a water bill without too many issues? Many thanks for your kindly advice in he...
Re: Spanish bank chargesI’m with Sabadell and switched to an expansion account. No fees. The price for the account is to either have insurance with them or pay in €700 a month. You can take it back out again and have the euros revolving. I tend to pay in when the rate is good and remove when the rate is good the other way!...
Re: Garden CentresVillamartin Garden Centre is good as Strolling says. There is one on the right on the N332 just past Mil Palmeras. Very hard to miss. Just carry along the 332 until you see it.
Re: The Wise bank to pay ALL Spanish bills? How do you go about moving direct debits to wise?
Re: Electric blanketOh yes, it’s brilliant! Media Mart it was and it’s a game changer. Separate controls and everyone is happy! Not expensive. About €65.
Re: Brexit aftermathInteresting. Do they stamp the passports of residencia? Rather suspect it’s open to easy abuse.
Re: Brexit aftermathIf you hold a UK passport then presumably you can visit UK as much as you like or is Spanish residency qualified by minimum occupancy in Spain?
